ELM GROVE - Lola M. "Maxine" Krainz (nee West) of Elm Grove died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at the age of 59.

She was the beloved wife of Ronald J. Krainz, dear mother of Melanie (Mark) Cass and Steven M. Krainz; fond grandmother of Jacob Xavier and Kerewyn Denise Cass; daughter of Lula Mae West; and sister of Lillie Edwards, Mary Carlisle, Mamie (J.T.) Moore, Betty Joyce (Tommy) Byrd and Dollie Wilson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and the School Sisters of Notre Dame.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, at the School Sisters of Notre Dame Chapel, 13105 W. Watertown Plank Road, Elm Grove. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p m. on Thursday, with a vigil to be held at 7 p.m. at the Bevsek-Verbick Funeral Home, 10210 W. Lincoln Ave., West Allis. A second visitation will be held at the chapel at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Friday. A private interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Maxine was a volunteer at Notre Dame Convalescent Center and a member of Milwaukee TEC. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the School Sisters of Notre Dame retirement fund are appreciated.
