WAUKESHA - Lifelong resident June R. Manak died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999. She was 79.

She was born July 12, 1920, to the late Matthew and Margaret Schock. After graduating from Waukesha High School, she worked at the Michael Yundt munitions company during World War II, and later, at Waukesha State Bank. She enjoyed bowling throughout her life. She and her husband, Carl, whom she married Dec. 2, 1947, were charter members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. They spent winters in Brownsville, Texas.

She is lovingly survived by her husband; children Robert (Heidi) of Waukesha and Pam A. Manak of Pewaukee; grandchildren Colleen and Valerie; sister-in-law Doreen Manak of Waukesha, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ray and sister Lucille.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Newhall and Hartwell avenues in Waukesha. A funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waukesha. Memorials are suggested to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
