| Steven M. Holden OCONOMOWOC - Steven M. Holden of Oconomowoc, formerly of Delafield, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital at the age of 46. He was born in Milwaukee on Sept. 16, 1953, the son of Claude R. and Jeneal (nee Montgomery) Holden. Steven was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a degree in art and also earned a degree as a journeyman goldsmith. He owned several of his own businesses, the latest being Sharkeys Billiards Hall in Waukesha. A generous man, Steven touched many lives with his humor and many acts of kindness and charity. He is survived by his wife and beloved friend of 23 years, Ann (nee Krumbach); his mother, Jeneal of Denton, Texas; his brothers and sisters, Robert Holden of Gladwater, Texas, Jim (Pat) Holden of Watertown, Penny of Denton, Texas, Les Holden of Shady Shores, Texas, and Janet (Dr. Joe) Jemelka of Grand Prairie, Texas; his in-laws, Phyllis and Ron Kopitzke of Oconomowoc; and his sister-in-law, Kay (Charles) Merrill of Greenville. He is further survived by step-brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude R. Holden. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at the Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave., Highway 67, Oconomowoc; the Rev. Stephen Welch officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the 2 p.m. service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
