| Goldie M. Boettcher EAGLE - Goldie M. Boettcher, age 82, of Andrew Street in Eagle died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at her home. Goldie was born Sept. 28, 1917, to William and Minnie Bowes. She was born in Carroll, Iowa, where she lived until the age of 12. They then moved to Milwaukee. Her father was a carpenter and her mother a homemaker. Goldie married John A. Boettcher on Sept. 4, 1937. Their first son lived only two days. Their daughter, Charlean, was born Dec. 30, 1941, and son Richard was born May 15, 1944. Goldie and John lived in Milwaukee until 1977 when they built a home and moved to Eagle. Her husband, John, passed away Jan. 9, 1990. Goldie loved to cook, bake, entertain and enjoyed life to the fullest. Goldies home was always full of warmth, love and joy. A strong Christian mother made it that way. Goldie is survived by her daughter, Charlean (the late Robert M.) Jenni of Greenfield, and her son, Richard J. (Susan) Boettcher of North Prairie. She was the much loved grandmother of Jessica (John) Gorse, Tamara Jenni, Matthew Jenni, Jonathon (Mary Jane) Boettcher, Janelle (Richard) Madish and the late Kimberly Jenni; and the loving great-grandmother of Mariah, Chase and Keely Gorse, Skylar and Cheyenne Boettcher, Devin Madish and Erica Jenni. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28, with visitation held from 4 p.m. until the time of services at Mealys Funeral Home, 103 Eagle St., Eagle. Pastor Bill Busch will officiate. Burial will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Valhalla Memorial Park in Milwaukee. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association are appreciated.
