WAUKESHA  Edward J. Petko of Waukesha died unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 17, 1999, at the age of 58. He was born in Milwaukee on June 10, 1941, the son of Lucille (nee Plaster) and the late Carl Petko. Ed was the director of human resources at Super Steel Products Corp. in Milwaukee.

Survivors include his wife, Judy (nee Ziegler); two daughters, Denise (Tom) Showen of Oconomowoc and Carmen (Bob) Holowitz of Hartland; his mother, Lucille Petko of Waukesha; his grandchildren, Nathan, Shannon, Brandon, Katelyn and Megan; and a sister, Karen (Clyde) McFarlin of Florida. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Honeck.

Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 20, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, N36-W24130 Pewaukee Road, Pewaukee; a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m.
