WAUKESHA  Lyle C. Simmons of Waukesha, formerly of Big Bend, died Sunday, Dec. 12 at the age of 87.

He was the beloved husband of Grace (nee Brownell) and the loving father of Beverly Scott, Katherine (David) Hagen, Robert (Jane) Simmons, Karen Lucas and the late John Simmons. He is survived by 10 grandchildren; one late grandson, Jeffery Scott; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by one sister, brothers, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16 at the Harder Funeral Home Brookfield, 18700 W. Capitol Drive. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Park, 5402 N. 91st St.
