TUCSON - Former Waukesha resident, Viola M. Green, age 79, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, in Tucson, Ariz. She was born Dec. 27, 1919, in Waukesha to Louis and Mildred (Berkholz) Hoeft. Viola was a 1940 graduate of Waukesha High School. She lived all her life in Waukesha until 1961 when she moved to Tucson. Her interests included bowling.

Survivors include her daughters: Patricia (Joseph) Rusk of Tucson, Ariz., Judith Vogt of Wildwood, Ill., and Sandra Olson of Waukesha; her daughter-in-law, Linda Green of Alpharetta, Ga.; a brother, Harold (Marcella) Hoeft, and a sister, Lou Fredrickson of Waukesha. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie, and sons Richard and Randolph Green.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. The Rev. Rod Resheske is officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery.
