Janet Sinclair Maitland Egger

WAUKESHA - Janet Sinclair Maitland Egger, a resident of Riverside Lodge in Dousman, died on Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at the Heartland Health Care Center in Waukesha. She was 85.

She was born July 22, 1914, in North Vancouver, B.C., Canada, the daughter of Mary Bartram and Thomas Kennedy. She married Oscar Otto Egger on Aug. 27, 1970.

Janet was a registered nurse and a public health nurse consultant for the state of Wisconsin. She was a member of the Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Oneida County Historical Society, the University of Michigan Alumnus Association and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander. She was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oconomowoc.

Janet is survived by her husband, Oscar Otto Egger; children, Arlynn (Wendy) Egger of Chandler, Ariz., James (Sharon) Egger of Roscoe, Ill., JoAnn (Robert) Wollersheim of Prairie du Sac and Linda (Courtland) Hintze of Cedarburg; brother, Everett B.M. Kennedy of British Columbia, Canada; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12 at Schmidt & Bartelt, Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Oconomowoc. The Rev. Blaine Rader will officiate a funeral service at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13. Janet’s remains are to be cremated.
