WATERTOWN - Robert H. "Bob" Brewer of Watertown, formerly of West Allis, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at Marquardt Memorial Manor at the age of 78. Bob was a resident of Marquardt Manor. He was born Dec. 29, 1920, in Syracuse, N.Y., the son of James Sr. and Helen Brewer. He married Ethel Mingst in 1946 in Wisconsin.

He is survived by his children, Sandra (Ronald) Smiley of Hoffman Estates, Ill.; the Rev. Dr. Rick Brewer of Watertown and Linda (Luis) Brewer-Rosado of West Allis; his sisters, Doris La Tart of Rome, N.Y., and Betty (Joe) Sudol of Dundee, N.Y. He is further survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel, in 1968; his parents; and his sister and brothers, Helen Norris, James Jr., Richard, Kenneth and Donald.

The funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 1999, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home-West on Moreland Boulevard with the Rev. James Hicks officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the First United Methodist Church in West Allis.
