MUKWONAGO - Joyce S. Bos went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 69. She was born Sept. 26, 1930, in Djakarta, Indonesia, to Freddy Eugene DeBie and Ernestine Constance Ketting-Olivier.

Joyce and her husband, John, are formerly of Belleview, Fla., where Joyce was an active member of the Belleview First Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.

Joyce is survived by her husband, John, whom she married in Djakarta on Dec. 8, 1950. She is further survived by son, Errol (Sherry) of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Esther (Patrick) Stapleton of Mukwonago and Penny Bos (Mark Houk) of Eagle; four grandchildren, Shannon (Dave), Jennie, Julian and Lauren; her mother, Ernestine Constance; two brothers, Edward and Edmund DeBie, both of Waukesha; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Freddy DeBie.

Memorial services will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Waukesha Bible Church at the corner of Highway 164 and Glendale Road in the town of Waukesha. The Rev. Russell Kinkade will officiate. Cremation will be at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the heart, cancer or diabetes associations are appreciated.
