Charles L. Giese Sr. March 18, 1929 - Dec. 24, 2004 Charles L. Giese Sr., 75, of Cherokee Village, Ark., formerly of Waukesha, passed away Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, in Menomonee Falls. Charles was born March 18, 1929, in Waukesha, the son of Ernst and Catherine Braun Giese. He graduated from Waukesha High School in 1947. Charlie was a route man for Golden Guernsey Dairy in Waukesha for 30 years. He retired from Waukesha Pumps in 1991 and moved to Cherokee Village, where he believed a bad day on the golf course was still better than a good day at work! He is survived by his wife, Marlyn; three sons, Charles (Carla) Giese Jr. of Palatine, Ill., Peter Giese and special friend Margie Karlinsky of Delavan and Jeff (Diane) Giese of Sussex; three grandchildren, Michael Giese, Max and Leah Schaumberg; two sisters, Viola Vergenz of Jefferson and Dorothy Paulic of Waukesha; one brother, Ernest (Orva June) Giese of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Audrey (Dan) Hanson; and numerous nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby Snieder, Alice LaPaz and Janet Holston. A private memorial service was held at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Waukesha. Another memorial service will be held at Cherokee Village at a later date. Church and Chapel Funeral Home is serving the family.
