Florence E. Burg

Florence E. "Flo" Burg (nee Dopke) of Sussex died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004 at age 67.

She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin Sr.; loving mother of Marvin Jr. "Skip" (Jane), William (Susan) and Donald (Joanne) Burg; fond grandma of Ed, Mark, Randy (Amanda) Barnes, Rachel Hein, Danielle, Jim and Dusty; dear great-grandma of Austin Barnes; dear sister-in-law of Geraldine Dopke, Eugene Meyer and Lester Burg; and beloved friend of Vicki Hartman. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lucille Dopke, and her siblings, Harry Jr., Muriel Meyer and Lenore Cain.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, W250-N6505 Highway 164 in Sussex. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lisbon-Merton Union Cemetery.

Memorials to the Redeemer United Church of Christ Building Fund or the Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
