Lance Cpl. Richard Daniel Warner Sept. 1, 1982 - Dec. 13, 2004
He was a 2001 graduate of Kettle Moraine High School, a graduate of Marine Corps Recruit Depot in November 2001, proud member of Fox Co. 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines. Richard had begun a career in the automotive industry as a sales professional at Wilde Honda until his deployment to Iraq. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Genesee Depot. He was the beloved son of Mary (nee Kaelin) and Patrick Donahue of Genesee and Robert Warner of Muskego; wonderful and fun-loving brother to Kimberly Warner of Genesee; cherished grandson of Isabelle (the late Adelrich) Kaelin of Glendale and Elda (the late William) Warner of Sterling, Ill. He is also survived by many caring aunts, uncles, adoring cousins, a group of outstanding friends, and his fellow Marines. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at St. Anthony on the Lake, W280-N2101 Prospect Ave. (Highway SS), Pewaukee (one-half mile north of Interstate 94 on Highway SS in Pewaukee). Services will continue with a second visitation from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, from 9 a.m. until the funeral Mass at the church. (This is a change of church location from St. Paul’s in Genesee Depot.) The Rev. Robert Gozma will officiate. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Citizens Bank of Mukwonago, 301 N. Rochester St., Mukwonago, WI 53149, in Richard D. Warner’s name.
