Lucille T. Thomas Feb. 14, 1917 - Dec. 17, 2004 Lucille T. Thomas, 87, of East Troy, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004. She was born Feb. 14, 1917, in Quincy, Ill., to parents William and Cunigunda (nee Kamphaus) Dietrich. She attended St. Anthony’s in Quincy and Englewood High School in Chicago. Lucille married Douglas Thomas on June 27, 1946, at St. Peter’s Church in East Troy. Douglas passed away July 23, 1994. She worked for the Modair Card Co. and the Walworth County Register of Deeds until her retirement in 1985. She was a very active member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, the St. Peter’s Ladies Sodality and the St. Vincent de Paul Society of East Troy, which she continued to serve until the time of her death. She is survived by four children, Roger (Andrea) Thomas of Genesee, Kevin (Rhonda) Thomas of Wisconsin Dells, Janet (Thomas) Plumb of Middleton and Jeanne Masters of East Troy; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice (Floyd) Farano of Placentia, Calif.; and one brother, James (Mary) Dietrich of Quincy. She is the sister-in-law of Robert Brod of Quincy, Esther Dietrich of Quincy, Marshall Thomas of Solvang, Calif., James (Frances) Thomas of Waterford and Joy Smith of Mt. Vernon, Ill. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Dorothy Wilcox, Viola Klingele and Billie Brod; and two brothers, Milton Dietrich and Gilbert Dietrich. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the the 7 p.m. service Tuesday, Dec. 21, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in East Troy. Interment will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Peter’s School Endowment Fund are appreciated.
