Kay H. Nelson Nov. 27, 1921 - Dec. 18, 2004 Kay H. Nelson (nee Fujita) of Big Bend passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at age 83. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William. She is the loving mom of Dr. Nichols (Patricia) Nelson, Lorri (Dr. David) Wanserski and Sharon (Kenneth) Meloy; proud grandma of Katie, Mandy and Nick Nelson, Matthew, Michael, Michelle and Mallory Wanserski, Debbie (Peter) Reichl, Dawn (David) Bills, Diana (John) Devine and Ken (Tricia) Meloy; great-grandchildren; and dearest sister of Tamiko, Sachiko, Mieko and Osamu Fujita. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. Kay retired from JH Collectibles where she was a dress and pattern maker for more than 20 years. Kay enjoyed her retirement years, especially with her crafts which included quilting and stained glass. Kay had a generous soul and was kind to everyone. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her grandchildren. Kay was a very peaceful woman and it was fitting that she died peacefully. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Advantage Funeral Home, 11030 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners, with the Rev. LeRoy Hass officiating. A private interment will take place at Rural Rest Cemetery. If desired, memorials to Marquette Dental School would be appreciated. Advantage Funeral Home, (414) 425-6060, is serving the family.
