Dolores M. Linderud

Dolores M. Linderud, 88, died at her Kent, Wash., home Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004. Born July 31, 1916, in Virginia, Minn., to Chris and Inga Johnson, she married Walter Linderud in 1941 in Park Falls.

She was a registered nurse at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and retired in 1975 as an operating room supervisor before moving to Tacoma, Wash. She enjoyed traveling to England, Wales, and Saudi Arabia and many visits with children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Walter; son David (Mary) Linderud of Durand; daughters Mary (Gregg) Lambrecht of Las Vegas, Nev.; Louise (Steve) Creighton of Bellevue, Wash., Alice (Jon) Blado of Tacoma, Wash.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Committal service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. Remembrances may be made to Providence Hospice of Seattle.
