Ramona Gard

Ramona Gard, 76, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at her residence in Sullivan. She was born in Hartland on Aug. 16, 1928, to Lester and Ruth (nee Anstey) Nissen.

Ramona was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church in Dousman.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Bernadette (Steven) Ruder of Hartland, Dolores (Wayne) McDermott of Sullivan, Charles (Donna) Gard of Jefferson, Timothy Gard of Jefferson, Robert (Theresa) Gard of Sullivan, James (Cheryl) Gard of Lake Mills, Terrance (Diane) Gard of Oconomowoc, Lawrence (Shelly) Gard of Elkhorn and Loretta (Bill) Zick of Sullivan; 24 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; her brothers, Charles (Pat) Nissen of Wawako, Ind., and David Nissen of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and her sister, Gloria Fryback of Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Gard, in 1992, and her great-grandchildren, Aiden Jaymes Ruder and Annika Gard Culver.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Dec. 17, at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Dousman. The Rev. John Schreiter will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery.
