Myrtle R. Lloyd May 6, 1916 - Dec. 12, 2004 Myrtle R. Lloyd, 88, formerly of Oshkosh and Hartland, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at Woodland Health Care Center of Brookfield after a long bout with cancer and dementia. Myrtle was born in Oshkosh on May 6, 1916, to Lillie and George Ruedinger. She married the late Robert Lloyd of Omro and had two children, Joyce and Carol. She was an active member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church of Pewaukee as well as a member of the Campfire Girls, the Flanagan-Dorn American Legion Auxiliary of Hartland, the Retired Service Volunteer Program, the Pewaukee Fireman’s Auxiliary and many other service organizations. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Robert) Stachowicz of New Berlin and Joyce (Ronald) Hembrook of Neosho; her grandchildren, Randy Hembrook of Neosho, Jeff Hembrook of Menomonee Falls, Steven Stachowicz, of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Karen Stachowicz of New Berlin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her sisters and brothers. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16 at the Luko-Evert Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home Thursday. Additional services will be held in Oshkosh at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at Lake View Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh. Friends may call at the cemetery chapel from 10 a.m. until the time of services. The Luko-Evert Funeral Home of Hartland, 367-2156, is serving the family.
