Milton A. Houk April 15, 1922 - Dec. 6, 2004Milton A. Houk, 82, of Ixonia, formerly of Dousman, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. He was born April 15, 1922, in the town of Ottawa, to Albert J. Houk and Hazel M. Waters. On Sept. 13, 1941, he married Beatrice Byrne in Janesville. Milton was employed by Vogt and Burtonwood Developers for many years and retired from Wolf Construction. He was a past member of the Dousman Volunteer Fire Department, St. Brunoユs Catholic Church in Dousman and Dousman American Legion Post No. 405. He was a member of St. Maryユs Help of Christian Church in Sullivan. Milton was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Philippines. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Beatrice; his children, Thomas (Oleta) Houk of Dayton, Tenn., Gary (Frances) Houk of Vine Grove, Ky., Milton メSkipモ (Cindy) Houk of Dousman, Elaine (Robert) Ellifson of Dousman, Jerome (Charlene) Houk of Meridian, Idaho, and Patrick (Colleen) Houk of Pewaukee; 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Services were held Thursday, Dec. 9, at St. Maryユs Help of Christians Catholic Church with Monsignor John Hebl officiating. Burial was at St. Brunoユs Catholic Cemetery in Dousman.
