William L. ‘Bill’ Leonard

William L. "Bill" Leonard, 61, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at his home. He was born Dec. 8, 1943, in Milwaukee, the son of William and Marjorie (nee Little) Leonard.

Bill was a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He loved studying the Mayan ruins and enjoyed traveling, especially to Belize.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Marnee (nee Greene) of Pewaukee. He was the dear father of Richard (Lisa) Willgrubs, James (Corrine) Willgrubs, Rhonda (Peter) Williams and Suzanne Leonard; proud grandfather of Ricky, Riley and Elisabeth; loving brother of Lois Leonard; and beloved brother-in-law of James (Judith) Greene, John (Cheryl) Greene, Steven (Pam) Greene, Wendy (Tony) Bacon and Scott (Pam) Greene. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Gloria Greene, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Holly (Donald) Wild.

A memorial service for Bill will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll St., Waukesha. A time for sharing will follow the service in the fellowship hall.
