Jack R. Jensen Aug. 9, 1943 - Dec. 7, 2004
In 1962, he graduated from Waukesha High School and in 1964 graduated from Waukesha County Technical Institute with an associate’s degree in electronics. In June 1964 he began working for Butler Bin/Portec Inc. until July 1980. Jack had been the owner of Jensen Services since August 1980. From 1981 until 2002, he was president of Controlled Systems Inc. He has been a consultant for various wastewater treatment plants and has worked in many countries, including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Africa, Newfoundland, Mexico and Canada. On Sept. 3, 1966, he married Carole (nee Roberts) at First Congregational United Church of Christ, where he had been a member for many years. Jack was an avid outdoorsman who hunted deer, bear, moose and boar. He especially loved muskie fishing. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 38 years, Carole, of the town of Waukesha, along with their children, Jack R. (Hilary) Jensen Jr. of Sussex and Jill A. (Mark Pitzka) Jensen of Pewaukee. He was the dear son of Roland and Gretchen Jensen of Waukesha; proud grandpa (Taid) of Aidan John Jensen; and loving brother of Sally Tolbert of New Berlin and David (Patricia) Jensen of Wauwatosa. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until a 2 p.m. memorial service Saturday, Dec. 11, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 100 E. Broadway, Waukesha. Burial of cremated remains will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13 at Prairie Home Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery office.
