Clarence F. Sanger May 18, 1919 - Dec. 6, 2004 Clarence F. Sanger of Pewaukee passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at age 85. Clarence was born May 18, 1919, in Gresham, the son of Paul and Martha Sanger. On April 11, 1942, he married Norma C. Wehling and moved to Pewaukee. Clarence was a longtime member of St. Charles Catholic Church where he was active in Men’s Club. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Clarence is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Sanger of Pewaukee; his sons, Gary Sanger of Hartland and Keith Sanger of Pewaukee; his grandchildren, Paul (Lisa), Kim and Nick; his great-grandchildren, Ryan and Erin; his sisters, Pearl Steffen, Beatrice Ritter, Alice Steffen and Mary Ann Henner; and his brother, Paul Jr. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Norma; his parents; his son, Wayne; his granddaughter, Holly; and his daughter-in-law, Barb. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at St. Charles Catholic Church, 313 Circle Drive, Hartland, with the Rev. Tom Demse officiating. Final rest will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the Mass on Thursday at the church. If desired, memorials may be given to St. Charles Church in Clarence’s name. Luko-Evert Funeral Home of Hartland, 367-2156, is serving the family.
