Marie E. Flynn

Marie E. Flynn, 73, of Waukesha, was born to eternal life Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at AngelsGrace Hospice in the town of Oconomowoc. She was born July 8, 1931, in Milwaukee, to Daniel and Mabel (nee Dionne) McCue.

Marie was a 1950 graduate of Messmer High School. On June 21, 1951, she married Charles F. Flynn. She had been employed by Deluxe Checks Printers for more than 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for the past 20 years. Marie enjoyed traveling with friends and family, especially a recent trip to Ireland.

She will be missed by her children, Michael (Judy) Flynn and Kevin (Linda) Flynn, both of Tomahawk, and Maureen Flynn (Jerry Peterson) of Wales. She was the dear grandmother of Erin (T.J.) Church of San Diego, Allison and Robert Flynn, both of Tomahawk, Shannon Flynn of Oshkosh, Megan Flynn of South Carolina and Jennifer Flynn of Wales. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, on May 1, 1987, and sister, Irene.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on Friday, Dec. 10 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
