Mabelle L. Woessner

Mabelle L. Woessner of Mukwonago died of heart failure Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at her daughter’s home in Muskego.

She was born Nov. 13, 1911, in Pueblo, Colo., a daughter of Jesse Clyde Howard and Lydia Theresa Love. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck, her parents and her brother and sister.

Mabelle was a member of St. James Church. She was a homemaker, an ardent gardener and a proud and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her three children, Bob (Catherine) of Green Bay, Kathy Kippers of Muskego and Joan (Lynn) Bernau of Mukwonago; nine grandchildren, Michael Woessner of Omaha, Dennis Woessner of Lodi, Tim Woessner of Minneapolis, Paula Woessner of Minneapolis, Christopher Bernau of Waterford, Rebecca Boehlke of Waukesha, Gregory Bernau of Burlington, Susan Haas of Eagle and Kevin Kippers of Waterford; and 12 great-grandchildren, Tatiana, Taylor, Tara, Nolan, Lydia, Celia, Madelynn, Meredith, Meghan, MacKenzie, Ben and Mabelle. She is further survived by nieces Kay Ann Cook of Colorado and Terri Hennigsman of Dallas, other relatives and friends.

Private services were held.

In lieu of flowers, any remembrances in her name can be directed to St. James Church or the American Cancer Society.
