Myrtle M. Wagner March 23, 1915 - Dec. 27, 2003 Myrtle M. Wagner of Mukwonago passed away Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at LindenGrove in Mukwonago at age 88. She was born March 23, 1915, in Clyman, the daughter of Henry and Adela (nee Zimmerman) Nitschke. Myrtle and her husband, Adolph, operated a dairy farm in the town of Vernon for many years. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mukwonago since 1943, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and choir and also taught Sunday school. Survivors include her children, Robert (Judy) of Townsend, Ronnie (Dorothy) of Townsend, Richard (Julie) of East Troy, Anita (Fred) Huey of Mukwonago, Danny (Sue) of Mukwonago and Betty Ann of Mukwonago; two brothers, Lawrence Nitschke of Mayville and Marvin (Trudy) Nitschke of Mukwonago; her two special daughters, Clara (Doug) Nettesheim of Pewaukee and Shirley (Don) McKinney of Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adolph; one son, Willard; and three brothers, Herbert, Walter and Harley Nitschke. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, Dec. 30, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 410 Highway NN, Mukwonago. The Rev. Kieth B. Kuschel will officiate. Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Mukwonago. Please meet at the cemetery. Memorials to the church or to Linden Grove in Mukwonago would be appreciated.
