Douglas Kawa

Douglas Kawa, 28, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, at his home in Sullivan. He was born Feb. 6, 1975, in Waukesha, the son of Beverly Gauger.

Douglas was a graduate of Jefferson High School. He was a printer assistant at CL&D Graphics in Oconomowoc and was very active in Civil War re-enactments.

He is lovingly survived by his mother, Beverly Kawa of Sullivan; his stepfather, Gary Jackson of Sullivan; his sister, Kathy (Paul) Roth of Tennessee; his niece and nephew, Kelly and Connor Roth of Tennessee; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Violet Kawa.

Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave., Oconomowoc. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Summit Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
