Robert L. Ziesmer

Robert L. Ziesmer of Oconomowoc died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2003, at Beverly Terrace in Watertown at age 74.

Robert was born Sept. 22, 1929 to Alvin Ziesmer and Lydia Geiger in Milwaukee. He married Marillyn Belau and she preceded him in death.

He was a registered pharmacist and owned Deer Park Pharmacy in Oconomowoc for 20 years. Robert later worked as a pharmacist in area hospitals and pharmacies.

Robert was also a former member of the Oconomowoc Rotary, Oconomowoc Gun Club and First Congregation Church of Oconomowoc.

Robert was also a graduate of North Division High School in Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He later retired to Eagle River.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara (James) Hoffman of Oconomowoc; a son, Robert Ziesmer of Florida; three grandchildren, Carolynne, Andrea and Andrew and other relatives and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Marillyn.

Services will be at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30 at the Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 Summit Ave, Oconomowoc, 567-4457, with the Rev. Robert Ullman officiating. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
