Robert Leonard

Robert Leonard, 70, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born March 23, 1933, in Milwaukee, to Harry and Genevieve (nee Hinze) Leonard.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 until 1953. He worked for Caterpillar Tractor from 1960 until his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed animals, especially feeding the squirrels at his home. He attended many rodeos and later enjoyed watching them on television.

He will be missed by his sons, Scott Leonard of Sanford, Fla., and Michael Leonard of Dousman. He is the dear grandfather of Jennifer Leonard of Pewaukee and Joseph Leonard of Madison, and loving brother of Mary (Al) Lampien of Idaho, Harry (Lois) Leonard of Bozeman, Mont., Dorothy Palmerina of Wakefield, Mass. and Helen Markoff of New Berlin. He is further survived by his friend, the one who cared, Doris Leonard; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, David; and sisters, Jeanie Posto and Lucille Fairden.

There will be a memorial open house at the home of Doris Leonard, 117 Harrison Ave., Waukesha, on Saturday, Dec. 27. Family and friends may call anytime after 1 p.m.
