Ronald W. Hooker ‘K9WTF’

Ronald W. Hooker, "K9WTF," passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at age 69.

He was the beloved husband of Annette (nee Krueger) for 46 years; dear son of Pearl and the late Orville; loving father of Jannette, Lynnette (Kenneth) Markle, Ronald (Susan), Darrell (Laura), Keith and Nannette (David) Zettler; grandfather of Lisa, Sarah, Katy, Jessica, Marlah, Michael, Zachary, Alicia, Kyle and Samuel; great-grandfather of Evan; and brother of Mason (Maxine), Bonnie (the late Russell) Lenz, Carolyn (Leonard) Onesky and Betty (Clifford) Becker. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a W.A.R.A.C. member for 44 years and past president, W.B.C.C.I. past president Milwaukee Unit and Region 7, member Hales Corners Log Burners for 32 years, member GE Elfun Club and Woodlawn Men’s Club.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha. A second visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday, Dec. 22, at Woodlawn Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2217 S. 99th St. Entombment will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
