George E. Wentz Jr.

May 15, 1942 - Dec. 17, 2003

George E. Wentz, Jr. of North Prairie, formerly of Franklin, went to celebrate Jesus' birth on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at age 61.

He was the loving husband of 41 years to Jean (nee Knuth) Wentz; dearest dad of Laurie, Richard (Terri), Vernon, Debra, Karrie, Anthony and Mindy; loving grandpa of Lisa, Kim, Jeff, Kurt, Zeny and Victoria; great-grandpa to Autumn and Alicia; dear brother of Alvina (Carl) Bavuso, Jean Wassmiller, Gordon Sincock and Maxine (Marshall) Holder; and brother-in-law of Donald (Joyce) Knuth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

George was a United States Air Force Veteran, retiree of GM Delphi, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #663 and council member of Brothertown Indian Nation.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Dec. 21, at Reformation Lutheran Church, highways D and E in Genesee Depot. The Rev. Wayne Meier will officiate. Interment with full military honors will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin; please meet at the cemetery. Randle-Dable Funeral Home is serving the family.
