Joan L. McPhail

Joan L. McPhail of Mukwonago passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She was 62.

Joan was born Jan. 13, 1941, in Burlington, the daughter of Morris and Vera (nee Maier) Coburn.

She was a 1959 graduate of Mukwonago High School.

Joan loved her grandchildren very much, as well as camping and collecting antiques. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; her children, Kevin Behnke of Coleman, Lisa (Mark) Wesolowski of Monroe, Wash., and Jodi (Angelo) Marzano of Graham, Wash.; her step-children, Tim McPhail of Delafield and Todd McPhail of Pewaukee; her sister, Judith (John) Martin of Centennial, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral Mass on Friday, Dec. 19, at St. James Catholic Church, 830 Highway NN East. The Rev. Robert J. Drutowski will officiate. Burial will be private at St. Peter’s Cemetery in East Troy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
