Marion R. Dally

Marion R. Dally, 108, passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at her home in Oconomowoc. She was born Nov. 12, 1895, in Oconomowoc, the daughter of Warren George Race and Elizabeth Monshau. On Nov. 27, 1919, she married Albert Dally.

Marion assisted her husband in their printing business, Dally Press. She was a lifetime member of Zion Episcopal Church and the Oconomowoc/Hartland Chapter No. 13 Order of the Eastern Star. She was an avid bowler, golfer and loved to fish. She also embroidered dish towels for her church.

She is lovingly survived by her niece, Deloris Keppen of Jefferson, and her nieces-in-law, Gladys and Mary Lou Race. She is further survived by other nieces by marriage; great-nieces and great-nephews; her caregiver, Linda Luczak; and many good friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her beloved daughter, Betty Jane Dally; her brothers, W. Kenneth Race and Robert H. Race; her sister, Helen R. Ashley; and her nephews, Kenneth and Charles Race.

Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 Summit Ave. (Highway 67), Oconomowoc. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at Zion Episcopal Church, 135 Rockwell Place, Oconomowoc; the Rev. Thad Butcher will officiate. Burial will be at Summit Cemetery.
