Robert C. Stein

Robert C. Stein, 74, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at his home in North Prairie. He was born Sept. 4, 1929, in Milwaukee, to Charles and Clara (nee Mittelstead) Stein.

He is a retired construction director from the Southeastern Wisconsin Housing Corp., a member of the North Prairie Fire Department, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of a barbershop quartet and was a building inspector for North Prairie and Mukwonago.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (nee Brennan), whom he married Dec. 26, 1959. He is further survived by his mother, Clara Stein of Pewaukee; brothers, Donald (Nancy) Stein of Townsend and David (Vickie) Stein of Lakeland, Fla.; sisters, Joan (Arthur) Lenz of Eagle and Lois (John) Laimon of Pewaukee; and nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Genesee. The Rev. Robert Gosma will officiate with burial in North Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.
