Beth Gissing-Griffin

Beth Gissing-Griffin (nee Hasslinger), 42, of Oconomowoc, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, in Milwaukee. She was born Sept. 27, 1961, in Oconomowoc, to George and Marion (nee Ryan) Hasslinger.

She was a graduate of St. Jerome Grade School and Oconomowoc High School. On July 9, 1999, she married Glen Gissing in Waukesha.

Beth worked at Commercial Collections Inc. in Milwaukee. She was a former employee of Oconomowoc Developmental Training Center and was the owner and groomer for Bowser Boutique in Oconomowoc.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Glen; her daughters, Margaret "Maggie" Griffin of Oconomowoc and Amy Griffin of Oconomowoc; her parents, George and Marion Hasslinger of Oconomowoc; her brothers and sisters, Mary Hasslinger of Menomonee Falls, Mark Hasslinger of Norton, Mass., Gwen Hasslinger of Oconomowoc, Lisa (Dan) VanDyck of St. Charles, Ill., and Richard (Chris) Hasslinger of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until the 2:30 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Dec. 13, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 Summit Ave. (Highway 67), Oconomowoc. The Rev. John Yockey will be officiating.
