Kenneth ‘Budda’ C. Buchs

Kenneth "Budda" C. Buchs, 75, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born July 9, 1928, in Waukesha, to William H. and Clara E. (nee Rupp) Buchs.

On Sept. 4, 1947, he married the former Helen Payne in Waukesha. He had worked for John Roder Septic from 1961 until his retirement in 1991. He was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Kenneth (Debra) Buchs of Waukesha and Patricia (Dennis) Penning of Baraboo, six grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brothers, Byron Buchs of Brookfield and Harold Buchs of Vesper; sisters, Ione (Edward) O’Connor and Shirley (John) Roder of Waukesha; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, on July 24, 1992; infant sons, Richard and David; brothers, Edward and Robert; and sister, Dorothy Cepauskas.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Friday, Dec. 12, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, with the Rev. David Ellis officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Home Cemetery.
