Bonnie Lou Allen

BRIGHTON, Mich. - Bonnie Lou Allen, 59, passed away at her Brighton, Mich., home on Friday afternoon, Dec. 27, 2002. She was born in La Crosse on July 8, 1943, the daughter of Gayland and Orma (nee Korte) Phillips. On July 28, 1962, she was married to Marvin Allen in Milwaukee. She moved from Waukesha to Brighton in 1978.

Bonnie was employed as an office manager for veterinarian Steve A. Rymal in Brighton for more than 20 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Marvin, are four children, Wendi (Darrell) Sparks of Garden City, Mich., Todd (Ronda) Allen of Brighton, Chad (Stacy) Allen of Howell, Mich., and Heather (Martin) Kelly of Brighton; seven grandchildren and one sister, Kay Phillips of Waukesha.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, from the Keehn Funeral Home, 706 W. Main St., Brighton, with the Rev. Terry Prisk officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 30, at the funeral home.
