Allen
J. Brewster WAUKESHA
- Allen J. Brewster, of Waukesha, was born to eternal life Thurs., Dec.
26, 2002, at age 67, after receiving new life with the generous gift of
organ donation and a heart transplant on Oct. 1, 1991. He
was the faithful husband and best friend for 46 years of Yvonne (nee
Pearson). He was the loving and devoted father and friend of John (Linda)
of Genesee, Robert of New Berlin, and Earl (Alma) of Colorado Springs,
Colo. He was the special and proud grandpa of Michael, Matthew, Lukas,
Shelby, Kacey, Audrey and Grady; dear great-grandfather of Nathan and
Andrew; dear son of Dorene and the late Allen Brewster; fond brother of
Harley (Sunny), Jeffrey (Linda), and the late David; also survived by
nieces, other family and many friends. Visitation
is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 6080 S. 27th St., and 9:30
a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Countryside Christian Church, 16650 W.
Greenfield Ave., Brookfield. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. There will
be a private entombment. Allen
proudly served in the New Mexico Air National Guard for 11 years, was a
retiree of Kalmbach Publishing Co., past president of Wisconsin Scale
Model Boating Association, member of Narrow Gauge Circle (a fellowship of
narrow gaugers) and an avid and active railroad enthusiast and model
railroader. Allen’s
family wishes to thank Dr. Bruce Berry for his compassionate care and
concern for the last 15 years, the staff at St. Luke’s Medical Center
Transplant Clinic, Dr. Claire Fritsche, Linda M. RN, and his cardiologist
Dr. Henry Gale for their special care and concern, along with his special
caregivers and friends Sheryl Bowman, Sandy Pelczynski, Octavia Hoskins
and the VNA Hospice and staff. If desired, memorials are appreciated to
St. Luke’s Medical Center Heart Transplant Program. Prasser-Klecza
