AST TROY - Raymond J. Fuhrman, 83, formerly of North Prairie, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at Kiwanis Manor in East Troy. He was born Nov. 29, 1919, in South Dakota, to Joseph and Anna (Kutzke) Fuhrman.

Raymond was retired from the U. S. Navy with 30 years of service.

He is survived by his nephews and nieces, Ronald, Donald, Conald, Robert and Jean Beranek, Joan Linde, Jane Pease, Genevieve Watring, Theresa Aceto, Doris Vondra, Charles and Sam Ambrosini and their families. He is also survived by cousins. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Leora Beranek, Agnes Ambrosini and Genevieve Hart, and his nephew, Nick Ambrosini.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. today, Dec. 26, at Mealy’s Funeral Home, 103 Eagle Street in Eagle. The Rev. Larry Chapman will officiate.Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until time of services today at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at St. George’s Cemetery in Kenosha.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
