Neida Considine
Neida was born April 29, 1916, in Weyauwega, the daughter of Fred and Nora (nee Neidhold) Harden. She married John Considine and they have twin girls, Jean (Bob) Leu of Appleton and June (Dean) Brandow of Fort Atkinson. Neida had four grandchildren, Joel Leu of Oak Creek, Kathryn (Chris) Leu Lane of Poolesville, Md., Suzanne Brandow Miller of Oakdale, Minn., and Dean Brandow of Franklin; four great-granddaughters, Kendra and Megan Lane, Mikayla Miller and Hannah Brandow. She is also survived by her sister, Mildred Harden of Waukesha. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and her sister, Marie. Neida lead an active social, physical and intellectual life. She and her husband traveled the United States, Europe, Austria and Asia. She was an active participant at First Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, elder and deacon. Neida was a swimmer with the park recreation program, an avid bridge player and reader. She was also an active member of the Waukesha Woman’s Club, where she was president three times, a volunteer at the Caring Place, a member of the YMCA and Retired Teachers Association. Neida taught school at Fairview North in Brookfield for 21 years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Visitation for Neida will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 27, at First Presbyterian Church, 810 N. East Ave. The funeral service will follow at noon. Interment will be in the Weyauwega Cemetery with committal services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28.
