IXONIA - James D. Lane of Ixonia, formerly of Oconomowoc, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, at his home. He was 59.

James was born Feb. 5, 1943, in Milwaukee, to Donald M. and Beatrice (nee Young) Lane. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a car salesman and a member of the Masons.

He is survived by his son, Curtis (Tina) Lane of Oconomowoc; a sister, Laurel Litke of Milwaukee; an aunt, Grace Rettig of East Troy; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Allen Lane.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 Summit Ave., Oconomowoc. Burial will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m Friday at the funeral home.
