GENESEE DEPOT - Mary M. LaKosh (nee Valent) was born to eternal life Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at age 53.

She is the loving wife of Doug; beloved daughter of Ann C. Valent; dear sister of James (Pat) Valent, Ann Valent, Ed (Tere) Valent, Jane Milach and Joan (Mike) Bednarz; dear sister-in-law of Rudolph (Susan) LaKosh and Patricia (Rick) Raught; and daughter-in-law of Rudolph and Bernice LaKosh. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gustav J. Valent.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, Dec. 20, at Feerick Funeral Home, 2025 E. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at St. Robert Catholic Church, East Capitol Drive at North Farwell Avenue in Shorewood. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Association are appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the dialysis unit and staff of Waukesha Memorial Hospital for the care given to Mary.
