DENVER - Robert J. Baran, 60, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at the Veterans Hospital in Denver. He was born June 21, 1942, in Waukesha, to John F. and Rosalind (nee Wiedenhoeft) Baran Sr.

Robert was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his sons, Jeremy and Ben Baran; his grandson, Wilem Baran; his brother, William (Geri) Baran of Waukesha; his sisters, Betty Hayes of Waukesha, Donna Trevorrow of New Berlin and Pat Soward of Tomahawk; and his brother, Gary (Nancy) Baran of Waukesha. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John F. Baran Jr.; his sisters, Una Wilkins and Bonnie Klatt; and a nephew, Allen Dale Soward.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Denver.
