PEWAUKEE - Robert A. Winkelman, 83, of Pewaukee, died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjory (nee Lee).

He was the dear father of Valerie Winkelman of Pewaukee, Margaret "Peggy" (James) White of Pewaukee, Theodore (Kristine) Winkelman of Pewaukee and Walter Thomas (Lynn) Winkelman of Mukwonago; grandfather of Amanda and Peter White, Thomas and Tammy Winkelman and Alexander Winkelman; and brother of Stella Heintz, Mabel Bierman, Ruth Evert, Helen Manke, Harvey Winkelman, Evelyn Staus and Marion Abrath. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Robert was a lifetime resident of Pewaukee and a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pewaukee.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, W250-N6505 Highway 164, Sussex. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday, and will continue after the service until 7 p.m. Interment will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery on Highway J in Pewaukee; meet at the cemetery.
