Cynthia H. Guderyon

NORTH LAKE - Cynthia H. Guderyon of North Lake passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at age 87.

She graduated from Shorewood High School and attended the former Milwaukee State Teachers College. She married Harold F. Guderyon on June 28, 1941.

She resided in the North Lake area and lived in the Honey Creek area from 1951 through 1967. She served on the school boards at Swallow School and Honey Creek School. She was formerly active in the Waukesha County Homemakers Association where she served in many leadership positions at the local and county levels for more than 50 years. She was a lifetime member of the Kettle Moraine Presbyterian Church, formerly the North Lake Presbyterian Church, where she was active in many areas of the church including the church Session, Pastoral Search and Ladies Aid Society.

Cynthia was the beloved mother of Mark (Emily) Guderyon of the town of Merton, John Guderyon of North Lake and James (Elaine) Guderyon of Madison. She was the loving grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 12. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her daughter, Celjie Shonat; and her sisters, Viola Baehler, Lorraine Streeter and Mary Becker.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian Church, N66-W32690 Highway K, Stone Bank. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Episcopal Cemetery, North Lake. Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the services Saturday.
