WAUKESHA - Helene Beilke (nee Gibson) of Waukesha died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, at age 93. She was the daughter of Hugh Gibson and Elizabeth (nee Sommers) Gibson, born Jan. 17, 1909, in Waukesha.

Helene was a lifelong resident of Waukesha and a longtime member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. She worked for many years at the Aeroshade Co., and for a time at Old Tavern Cheese Co. and the Waukesha Motor Co.

Helene is survived by a great-niece, Cathy (Gerald) Berger of Waukesha, and many more great-nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Beilke; her parents; her two sisters, Margaret Beck and Esther Glynn; a niece, Kathleen (nee Habel) Padalik; and her husband, Miles Padalik.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll St., Waukesha. Funeral services will be celebrated at 11 a.m., with the Rev. James McMammon officiating. Cremation to follow the service with burial at Prairie Home Cemetery.
