Gwendolyn A. Crouse
WAUKESHA - Gwendolyn A. Crouse (nee Bucholtz) died peacefully in her home Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002. She was 73 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, in 1975; her parents, Mabel and Alvin Bucholtz; brothers, Ralph and Harold Lohr and Robert and Don Bucholtz; and her dear sister, Addie Crouse. She was the beloved mother of Sharon L. Clark; dearest grandmother of LaShawna L. (Robert) Escobedo, Aimee J. (Jose) Rivera and "her boy," Christopher David Clark; and great-grandmother to Angel, Carlos and Antonio Rivera, Caitlin Rose and Bobby Escobedo Jr. Gwen will be sadly missed by many family members and friends. Gwen was a member of First Methodist Church of Waukesha since 1950, but had been attending the River of Life Bible Church with her daughter. She was a machine tender at Amron Corp. for 11 years and a crossing guard at Blair Elementary School for 18 years until her retirement in 1988. She had many friends, was an avid bowler and a cancer survivor since 1973. She lived at Summit Woods for 11 years and was a member of the kitchen band. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, at River of Life Bible Church, 506 N. Washington Ave., Waukesha; the Rev. Curt Liebl officiating. Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
