NEW BERLIN - Noel C. Martin of New Berlin went home to heaven Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at age 93.

He was the beloved husband for 70 years to Rebecca (nee Garbe); the loving father of Carolyn Bourdo and Nancy Whitehouse-Knoebel; grandpa of five and great-grandpa of 14; and dear brother of Lucille Smith. He is further survived by one sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Martin.

Noel was a Waukesha County Board supervisor for 17 years. He was born on the family farm in New Berlin and lived in New Berlin his entire life. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tess Corners.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, S66-W14325 Janesville Road, Tess Corners. Friends may visit from noon until 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church are appreciated.
