HARTLAND - Wilmore B. "Bill" Shaske of Hartland passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, at age 88. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha.

He is the loving father of Bill Jr. (Patricia) Shaske and Jeanine (Ed) Filber; special grandpa of Brett, Kim, Scott and Kristy; and great-grandpa of 10. He is also survived by his brother, Art, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bill worked for A.O. Smith for 37 years and was a former member of the Milwaukee and Waukesha local musicians unions. Bill’s love of children led him to join the Hartland Police Department as a crossing guard for 19 years.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 W. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in the Chapel of Peace at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pinelawn Cemetery in Wauwatosa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated.
