MUKWONAGO - Dorothy G. Bublitz, 89, of Mukwonago, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at Lindengrove in New Berlin. She was born Jan. 12, 1913, in Burlington, the daughter of George and Ida (nee Schetsky) Foley.

Dorothy was a former waitress at Stoltz Pharmacy in Mukwonago and was also a former waitress at Blue Bay Restaurant in Mukwonago. She was a member of the La Belle Chapter No. 40 Order of the Eastern Star in Mukwonago for more than 50 years.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Theland "Ted" (Mary Jane) Bublitz of New Berlin; her grandchildren, Mark (Dawn) Bublitz, Theresa (Scott) Lindemann and Dennis Bublitz; her great-grandson, Victor Lindemann; and her sisters, Irene Brandt, Renealda Stauder and Virginia (Charles) Kibler. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl "Red" Bublitz; and her son, George Bublitz.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Schmidt & Bartelt Van Valin Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Mukwonago. A second visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the funeral home; the Rev. Stephen Welch will officiate. An Eastern Star service will also be held. Interment will be held at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Mukwonago.
