WAUKESHA - Gregoria F. Gaitan, 77, of Waukesha, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She was born May 14, 1925, in San Diego, Texas, to Daniel and Jacoba (nee Ruiz) Fernandez.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Maria Banks of Waukesha, Enedina (Ruben) Casarez of Huffman, Texas, Claudina (Alex) Silva of Waukesha, Jesus Gaitan of San Antonio, Belinda (Dick) Hoffman of Peck, Idaho, Esmeralda Garcia, Neri (Amelia) Gaitan, Heriberto (Vickie) Gaitan, Thelma (Felix) Montoya, Luis Romeo Gaitan and AltaGracia (Robert) Rivera, all of San Antonio, and Alessandra (Richard) Garcia of North Carolina. She is further survived by 38 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Whitton of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother, Roel (Rita) Fernandez of San Antonio; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Baldermar and Roberto Gaitan; and her grandson, Hector Gaitan.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, Dec. 6, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Rob Warnell of Fox River Christian Church officiating.
